Jane May Counselling
You’re probably here because you’re considering seeing a counsellor about something that’s troubling you at the moment. I know that for many, life is exciting, busy and rewarding. But what when it’s not? When we are bogged down with insecurity, regret or shame? Or something huge happens, like a relationship change or a health diagnosis? When you feel like you’re putting one foot in front of the other, but there’s a different you living in your head?
You might be feeling you want to talk about things with someone outside of your family and friends, someone who will listen, not judge, not talk over you about their own concerns, to be a steady, warm reassurance. You might want someone to help you work out how to handle something, better or reframe what’s happened, or just offload it to someone who’ll listen. In any case, you want to feel better, more hopeful and face whatever comes next with confidence.
